This album is very, very weird. It is a fun listen. If you can catch him in concert (as I did in the 1990s), then you will see what I mean. Roger Nusic is a true character from the Pacific Northwest. He does have a MySpace page and a website at rogernusic.com.
Musically, it is pop-rock or rock with electric violin and guitar. Some songs are raunchy, some songs are religious. He is a good guitar player in a spacy/rhythmic/groove kind of way. Ummm, I hope that helps describe the album.
The follow-up album, "Burn or Save" is hip-hop with guitars, violin, and drum beats. It does have some simple but wild (silly?) freestyles.
